NTEP VCAP Certification

The NCWM's NTEP VCAP Certification requirements are currently being successfully addressed by NQA. As an NCWM member and ANAB accredited certification body, NQA is ideally positioned to offer services to device manufacturers and private labelers requiring this new certification.

As NTEP Certificate of Conformance holder's within the scope of the load cell pilot program, manufacturers must meet VCAP by the end of December 2009.

NQA has been contracted by several leading load cell manufacturers and began conducting audits in Sept. 2009.

As a process, the VCAP audit incorporates many Quality Management System requirements similar to ISO 9001, but further focuses on the device sampling, testing and data recording protocols as outlines in NCWM Publication 14.
